Forgotten Carols
Researched & conducted by Ali Burns
This beautiful and atmospheric concert is fast becoming a must attend event. It features “forgotten” carols that originate from Britain’s rich folk traditions. These winter songs and carols are woven together with readings of contemporary poetry and prose and this year’s reader is Tom Pow, Dumfries based poet and writer who is making a welcome and popular return after last year’s run of concerts. Singing with the choir as soloist for the first time is Sam Lee from London.
